Nitro Petroleum Incorporated Announces Re-Completion of Sharon No. 1 Well

OKLAHOMA CITY, OKLAHOMA--(MARKET WIRE)--Jun 8, 2009 -- Nitro Petroleum Incorporated (OTC BB:NTRO.OB - News) has been advised by its technical consultants that a re-completion and deepening of the Sharon No. 1 well should enhance the production capacity of the well. The Sharon well located in Garvin County, OK. was initially completed in the Oil Creek Sandstone. The re-entry should double the open hole exposure to this prolific Sandstone reservoir. The current re-completion technology enables the operator to stimulate the existing pay-zone in addition to the reservoir expansion. This project started last week and should be completed by mid June.

Larry Wise, President of Nitro, stated, "With the recent increase in crude oil prices, Nitro has started doing a comprehensive technical analysis for all of the Company's leases, to examine well production increases and new drilling programs."
