VoiceNetworkx Explores Extending Fiber Optic Network

HEMET, Calif., May 12 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- VoiceNetworkx, Inc. (VNWX.PK) (www.voicenetworkx.com) today announced that it is exploring extending their fiber optic circuit in certain cities and into the business districts of those municipalities in Southern California.

VoiceNetworkx is currently exploring the deployment of up to 1 mile of fiber terminals from their main circuit along I-10 and into the heart of the business districts in a number of yet undisclosed cities. H. Castillo, VoiceNetworkx's CTO, pointed out that "a number of very important potential customers have expressed interest in the fiber access but the nature of their business and even regulatory issues prevent them from accessing our network via wireless broadband. We decided the opportunity merits careful consideration."

VoiceNetworkx will explore viable solutions to reach into the business districts by partnering with local utilities and other entities with right of way in the selected areas. A number of cities in the Inland Empire region of Southern California host large numbers of high profile companies that can benefit from local, affordable fiber access, especially in the current economic climate.
